Classical Music Through the Vineyards

International Festival in Mendoza 2014

This international wine festival in Mendoza is truly one of the best wine tours in Argentina. At The Grapevine Wine Tours, we know that the ‘classical music through the wine routes’ is one that is interesting, informative and of course mouth-watering.

Classical Music through the Vineyards Mendoza – a once in a lifetime tour

We are often asked why we would recommend this wine tour, and our answer is always the same, this is one of the leading wine tours in Mendoza because it is unique. The tour combines the finest classical music with deluxe wines to fuse two of the most refined hobbies loved all over the world – this is why this is one of the best wine tours in Argentina.

Taking place from the 12-20 April 2014, the wine tour will combine the music of Mendocinian, Argentinean and international performers across various sites.

One of the best wine tours in Argentina returns for its 14th year

Another reason why this tour is so popular is because of the different places that it allows you to explore. Two of the main wineries Salentein & Clos de Los Siete (Monteviejo, Diamandes) are the finest wineries in the area.

Salentein is a winery that spreads over four provinces, an astonishing 72,000 hectares, even though a lot of the space is used for farming cattle and producing milk. Salentein offers a luxury range of premium wines that are now well known across the globe.

Clos de Los Siete is another winery with a rich history – one that you will have the pleasure of exploring on the tour. The full-bodied wine that they produce is also well recognised internationally.

Without a doubt, this international tour in Mendoza is one of, if not the most unique tour offered on The Grapevine Wine Tours. For more information, please contact us.

Mendoza Wine Harvest Festival 2014

The Mendoza Wine Harvest Festival remains to this day one of the greatest harvest festivals in the world, which sees thousands of people flock to Argentina at this time of the year. In fact, in 2011, National Geographic recognised the Mendoza Wine Harvest Festival as the second largest harvest festival in the world.

Wine Tours Mendoza – Mendoza Wine Harvest Festival 2014 – one to remember

The Mendoza Wine Harvest Festival 2014 runs from Saturday 1st March until Tuesday 11th March 2014 with a variety of events to take in every single day.

Saturday the 8th March 2014 is the main event with the election of the new harvest queen and a spectacular firework show. However, one of the most impressive ‘spectacles’ is that over 1,000 artists perform on the main stage on that day alone. Therefore, there is an array of entertainment to enjoy all day.

With over 300,000 guests in 2013, the Mendoza Wine Harvest Festival 2014 is bound to be a fantastic success with fine wine, and many different types of cuisine to try.

Wine Harvest Festival Argentina 2014 – broaden the mind

If you are a wine connoisseur who enjoys learning new information, wine tours in Argentina offer the best of both worlds. Exploring the boutique wineries in Mendoza  to find out how wine is made and learning the history of wine in Argentina sounds like the perfect retreat to many people. However, add to that an evening of fine dining, more wine, and fantastic accommodation, and you can see why many people return year after year.

While this wine tour has been taking place every year since 1936, every event offers something different, which is why each trip will feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The number of tourists in Mendoza increases substantially around this period, and it’s not hard to see why if you have experienced the atmosphere.
